Saskatoon water usage up

People in Saskatoon are using 60 million litres of water more per day after the driest May on record, according to Saskatoon Water.

Water usage in the city is up 33 per cent, to 240 million litres per day, compared with the same time last year.

July and August are the months with the greatest demand for water, so water usage could still increase this summer.
